Lingard
Looks like Forest aren’t going to offer him another contract so he will be a free agent again this summer.

We wouldn’t would we?

There can’t be many that have wasted their peak years as much as he has.

Not pushing for a permanent move to West Ham in the summer of 2021 after his successful loan spell must be a regret for him.

Re: Lingard
Was always about money for him and he got the deal he wanted. I suppose he didn't expect to fall off a cliff as much as he has and is now facing a promoted PL club at best I imagine, but probably championship or abroad.

Re: Lingard
We’d be MENTAL to.
In fact if I were Sullivan and Moyes even brought the subject up given what we saw from him for Forest, I’d have to fire him on the spot.

If he's prepared to take the wage level of an appentice maybe other then that he could f**k off.

Re: Lingard
We got Pacqueta instead.

Obviously cost more but is already better than peak Lingard, rather than the flushed Lingard barely making the Forest bench.

Re: Lingard
He lost interest in football a long time ago.

Had a lot of cheerleaders on here making excuses for him, but it's was blatantly fucking obvious he was more interested in social media than football.

I wouldn't have him if he paid the club.

He’s a bit thick too isn’t he. Every interview he just mumbles like a socially awkward teenager. Something not right in his head which is why he ended up the way he did.

Personally don't like the bloke/brand.
But let's be honest, although some on here feel like a lover scorned as he chose to go elsewhere, I'm reasonably certain if he was with us this season and commited to the cause we'd have more points than we've managed to garner thus far.

Re: Lingard
we got the best 3 months of his career, between long periods of being very mediocre to which he has reverted.

Nice little payday at Forest, nor sure why they even bothered to sign him especially on that wedge and then hardly play him at all.

Re: Lingard
Get as sniffy as you like but he'd still be ideal in Moyes team. Double figures for goals if he ate a bit of humble pie and wanted to get his career back on track.
